I had been in a job from past 13 years where i had to look over the management of various technical divisions in my office. My job had always been very stressful and i had to work over 8 hours a day on computer. To achieve good positions in the organization i had over worked and developed enough stress also to achieve those positions. This caused me to have 'cervical spondylosis' which suffered me almost 2 years and disabled me in achieving my goals for 2 years.
Again after 2 years I felt I am healthy enough to set and achieve new goals and started working hard again. Again I had developed huge amount of stress in me as I had wasted 2 years in the past to achieve the expected positions. Though I could maintain to be unsuffered from cervical spondylosis by doing some exercises and other therapies I had to suffer from another problem called 'Prolapsing Gastropathy' which causes in bleeding in the esophagus and develops irritation frequently. This is caused due to the over stress and again disabled me to work properly and left me unsuccessful in achieving my goals for more than a year. I had overcome this stress problem with meditation and other yoga practices and could maintain good job profile for few days.
Over these days I had also suffered well financially too and I had to set another and new goal in my life that is 'Extra Money'. To earn this extra money I had choosen online earning sources which compelled me to work extra hours after my regular job hours. This again has caused in developing over stress in me and had no time to do any exercise, meditation and any yoga practices while working in extra hours. This time I had suffered from both 'cervical spondylosis' and 'Prolapsing Gastropathy' at a time with very seviourity and disabled me completely from work.
After attending many stress management classes I had recovered from Illness. Now I could hardly work for 2 hours a day which I am spending those hours on hubpages keeping my thoughts and experience on these digital pages. Hoping the best to happen for me on hubpages. With this article I just want to beg people to not work under stress and dont be over stressed at work which may dasable you even from doing work.

This post can be said excellent. I had seen few of my colleagues too have suffered with same kind of symptoms. Our's is a software developing company in which we have to work more than 10 hours a day on computer which is developing considerable amount of stress due to targets set to us. Many of the stress management classes will be organized in our organization very frequently but still we are not able to control the stress. One who is working under stress surely must read this post and recognize the complications that may certainly arise in future and take certain necessary actions to avoid stress at work.
How did you identify that you are under stress? What symptoms did you observe when you are over stressed? General stress symptoms are aggressive behaviors, too much smoking, increased drinking of alcohol, listlessness, over cautious, nervous laughter and etc., have you observed this kind of symptoms. Please give some feed back which would help others in recognizing the symptoms of stress.
Targets at work will definitely develop lot of stress and we will not have time also to think about stress management tips due to pressures that is given by superiors. The solution for that kind of problems is just quitting the job. We must find the only solutions for restrictions over the pressures given by them which is a tougher task.
Most of the IT companies today are bothered about the stress that is killing the out-turn of the organization. Though they are organizing various stress management classes they are unable to maintain their staff de-stressed. This is because they are not understanding they are stressed just because of over work which cannot be reduced with any classes or seminars. They must reduce the targets at work and make them relieved from pressures to at least think about de-stressing options.

This is a well written article about stress management. I have had my own unique experiences around workplace stress, in the IT field, over the past 10 years of my career, and I have come to conclude that it is the environment in which we work that makes it impossible for an employee to ever be truly in control of their time and creative efforts.
